Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems GS Technical Lead for the Flight Avionics Department in Tucson, AZ. You will lead cross-functional teams through hardware development, define interfaces, and mentor engineers while coordinating with suppliers and customers.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, system-level thinking, and extensive RF and analog/digital/power electronics expertise. A DoD Secret clearance is required and relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Ten years of experience in RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support.
• Experience in RF sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development, and RF Test solutions.
• Prior experience as a technical leader on a complex subsystem.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the technical integrity of the GS, including the Technical Data Package (TDP) development, validation, and integration.
• Manage the technical risk for the GS.
• Technical oversight of GS failure investigations.
• Support component level design and test reviews.
• Assignments may include guiding a team through several phases of hardware systems lifecycle.
