Job summary

RTX's Flight Avionics Department seeks an Electrical Subsystems GS Technical Lead in Tucson, AZ to guide a cross-functional team through complex hardware development, defining interfaces and leading trade studies. You will ensure the technical data package integrity across lifecycle and mentor engineers in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes systems thinking, MBSE, and collaboration with suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• RF product and subassembly design, integration, and production support.
• Analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
• Deconvolving high level requirements into actionable design electronics and subsystem architectures.
• Experience in RF sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development/validation, CCA design, RF test solutions, and RF supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical integrity of the GS, including the TDP development, validation, and integration.
• Manage the technical risk for the GS.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments; mentor team.
• Support component level design and test reviews; collaborate with suppliers and customers.
• Travel as required and engage in cross-functional collaboration across departments.
