Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a high-profile data center construction project. This Senior PM will oversee the General Contractor's construction activities, focusing on schedule reporting to the project owner, and will bring deep field expertise in large-scale data center or electrical contracting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally in data center construction or with an electrical contractor.
• Experience with substation and power distribution systems preferred.
• Familiarity with MEP design and relevant codes, standards, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in the Data Center Commissioning Process (levels 1–5) and construction document management.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Communicate across internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Analyze and track critical milestone activities to prevent schedule slips.
• Ensure project governance, processes and systems are properly applied.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are followed.
• Manage interfaces with suppliers through trackers and reviews.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, and contractors.
• Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
• Support cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
