Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a high-profile data center construction project. The role focuses on overseeing the General Contractor’s activities, reporting schedule status to the project owner, and applying best practices in large-scale data center environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep field experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, P6, and CxAlloy. On-site responsibilities may vary by client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally in data center construction or with an electrical contractor.
• Experience with substation and power distribution systems preferred.
• Familiarity with MEP design and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and collaborate with project stakeholders.
• Provide formal project status reports and other reports as required.
• Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects to ensure compliance with design standards.
• Manage interfaces between suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
