Job summary

Rosendin seeks a Senior Project Manager to direct overall project execution, schedule, and financial outcomes for multiple electrical construction projects. You will lead a team of project managers and assistants, develop opportunities, and maintain client relationships.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical construction, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• PE license is a plus.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods.
• Proven experience mentoring and managing others.
• Business development/heavy client interaction a plus.
• Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate boundaries.
• Supervise a staff or two Project Managers in daily tasks.
• Train and supervise Project Managers in company philosophy and systems.
• Negotiate and supervise change orders.
• Maintain logs to track project progress.
• Train and supervise a Project Assistant for tracking devices.
• Maintain liaison with prime client and A/E for construction activities.
• Monitor construction activities with Foreman and Area Superintendent to stay on schedule and budget.
• Investigate serious situations and implement corrective actions.
• Represent company/project in meetings with client and subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly cost reports.
• Manage contracts finances to protect company interests while maintaining client relations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or other related discipline
