Job summary

Superior is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Executive to lead and grow large electrical construction projects for multiple customers. You will oversee a team of Project Operations personnel, manage KPIs, mitigate risk, and work directly with customers, trade partners, and executives. This role is based on a Canton, Ohio jobsite.

You will lead lifecycle activities, drive project progress with operations teams, and maintain safety standards while pursuing business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in commercial construction project management on large, complex projects.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid and negotiated projects from $100M+.
• Ability to build and manage dynamic, high performance teams.
• Experience presenting during business pitches, company meetings and industry events.
• Familiar with crisis management and rapid response in construction.
• Extensive knowledge in construction management and project finance.
• Knowledgeable in industry codes, standards, requirements and methods.
• Bonus: Construction Systems Management degree, Engineering degree or related certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle of major projects from preconstruction to closeout for multiple customers.
• Collaborate with Project Operations and Field Operations to drive project progress.
• Partner with department leaders to coordinate across the organization.
• Oversee financial performance and risk management of each project.
• Represent the company in meetings with customers and subcontractors.
• Nurture senior-level relationships and participate in business development.
• Invest in professional development of Project Operations team members.
• Uphold a high degree of safety across the jobsite.
