Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple locations. You’ll drive power distribution, I&C, and SCADA, leading multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction with a focus on quality, reliability, and long‑term performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical system design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, compliance practices, regulations, and standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and project delivery for complex infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the technical lead across power distribution, lighting, I&C, and SCADA systems.
• Manage projects from planning through construction (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts.
• Provide QA/QC oversight on electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor and guide electrical engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve electrical system performance.
