AE2S seeks an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple locations. You will manage client relationships, provide technical leadership, and oversee power systems, instrumentation, controls, and SCADA.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, PE registration in Utah or eligibility, and a track record of guiding teams to high-quality, on-time delivery while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical system design experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, compliance practices, regulations, and standards.
• Adept in providing guidance and strategic leadership to mid-level, senior-level, and project members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution, lighting, instrumentation & control systems, and SCADA.
• Pre-employment checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level electrical engineering and project management leadership for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Lead business development efforts and drive local and regional growth.
• Serve as technical leader applying advanced electrical engineering expertise across teams.
• Design and oversee electrical systems, ensuring codes and client requirements are met.
• Conduct research and feasibility evaluations for new electrical technologies.
• Lead large-scale electrical design projects with planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Provide QC/QA for electrical designs, drawings, and specs.
• Mentor engineers and staff to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage client relationships, proposals, and new project opportunities.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings with clients and stakeholders.
