Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple locations, including Fargo and Grand Forks. You will manage client relationships, oversee project execution, and provide technical leadership in power systems, instrumentation and controls, and SCADA.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 10+ years of experience, and PE registration (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• PE registration or ability to obtain is required.
• 10+ years in electrical system design for water/wastewater projects.
• Experience with design-bid-build is required; CMAR/design-build preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior electrical engineering and project management leadership.
• Lead and support business development and growth strategies.
• Direct technical leadership across power, instrumentation, and SCADA.
• Design electrical systems meeting codes and client requirements.
• Oversee project execution from planning through construction.
• Mentor and oversee junior engineers and staff.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and clients to deliver high‑quality solutions.
