Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across Lehi and other locations. You will manage client relationships and provide technical leadership in power, instrumentation and control, and SCADA.

This role requires a PE or ability to obtain, 10+ years of experience, and a track record delivering projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical system design experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution, lighting, and instrumentation and control systems (SCADA).

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level electrical engineering and project management leadership for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Lead business development efforts to drive local and regional growth.
• Serve as technical leader across power systems, instrumentation and controls, and SCADA.
• Design and oversee electrical systems ensuring codes and client requirements.
• Manage projects from planning to construction, tracking budget and schedule.
• Provide QC/QA for electrical designs, drawings, specifications.
• Mentor engineers and staff to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage client relationships, proposals, and new opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, stakeholders, project teams.
