Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Wastewater Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager in Fargo, ND. You will lead teams of engineers, pursue new projects, and nurture client relationships to deliver quality wastewater solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and public infrastructure impact, with opportunities for ownership and growth within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 6+ years of experience in municipal civil engineering with focus on wastewater.
• Willingness to travel for business development and project responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong reputation for integrity, fairness, reliability, good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional services for wastewater projects including design, plans, specs, reports, budgets, scopes, permits, and coordination.
• Lead design and construction of wastewater collection systems and treatment facilities.
• Work within multi-discipline projects including civil, electrical, and architectural aspects.
• Identify and manage project opportunities and client relationships.
• Provide quality control/assurance on all project work.
• Manage budgets and schedules while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal/external meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers, technicians and other team members.
• Assist clients with project financing and funding development.
