Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer (PE) to lead design for tasks within a discipline, coordinating with project engineers to meet schedule, budget, and quality. This role offers flexible work location options in Charlotte, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, or Macon.

Essential functions include project management, status updates, budget tracking, sub-task oversight, QA/QC, mentorship, client communication, and coordination with sub-consultants.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• 8–10+ years in a leadership role within electrical engineering firms.
• Strong knowledge of energy codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for tasks within a discipline and coordinate with other engineers.
• Develop hours estimates and scopes; provide design status updates.
• Track discipline budgets and oversee sub-tasks.
• Provide QA/QC plans and mentor design staff.
• Attend client meetings and deliver timely updates.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants and other disciplines.
