Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings group seeks a Senior Project Engineer, Electrical for Mission Critical Facilities to guide electrical design on data center projects. You will lead a team of project engineers and designers, ensuring quality and timely delivery while serving as a mentor and trusted resource for stakeholders.

The role emphasizes accountability, cross-disciplinary coordination, and ongoing professional development in a fast-evolving data center field.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mission critical/data center design concepts.
• Experience on large-scale projects with varied stakeholders.
• Proficient in engineering practices and design tools across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assists the business development team in new project pursuits by providing input on RFPs/RFQs.
• Manages technical project process and scope within own discipline; tracks scope, schedule, budgeted hours.
• Delegates tasks to project engineers and designers within own discipline.
• Leads technical discussions and coordinates with stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Supervises and mentors junior staff; supports staff education and development.
