Ormat Technologies seeks an Electrical Procurement Manager (U.S.) to own the full electrical procurement scope for U.S. battery energy storage and utility-scale solar projects.

Based in Philadelphia, you will lead supplier strategy, sourcing, contracting and escalation for BESS containers, PV modules, inverters, trackers, transformers and MV/HV balance of plant. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related field required.
• 8+ years of procurement experience, with 4+ years buying electrical equipment for utility-scale projects.
• Direct experience purchasing BESS and/or solar PV equipment (modules, inverters, trackers, transformers, switchgear).
• Proven ownership of high-value, long-lead equipment from RFQ to delivery.
• Experience negotiating complex supply agreements and MSAs.
• Knowledge of U.S. trade and incentive requirements for renewable equipment.
• 2+ years leading or supervising buyers or cross-functional teams.
• Advanced SAP/ERP knowledge and data discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-moving construction environments.

Responsabilités

• Own the U.S. electrical category strategy for BESS and solar, including negotiation strategy and lead-time approvals.
• Lead sourcing of major equipment and build a qualified supplier base across the U.S., Asia and Europe.
• Consolidate demand across the U.S. project pipeline and secure supplier capacity in advance.
• Lead negotiation and execution of MSAs, framework agreements, supply agreements and POs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Contract Management and Finance on terms, warranties and dispute mechanisms.
• Benchmark pricing against market budgets and deliver measurable cost savings against KPIs.
• Develop U.S. electrical buyers and ensure coverage during absences; escalate to Head of Global Procurement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and SAP as the single source of truth.
• Travel to project sites and supplier factories (30–50%).
• Provide procurement input to budgets, pipelines and executive reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of templates, SOWs and evaluation criteria.
