Job summary

Soltage is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Project Management team and own end-to-end procurement across the Company’s portfolio, from long-lead item identification through PO execution, vendor management, and dispatch to site. The role acts as the bridge between Development, Engineering, Project Management, and Finance on third-party supply decisions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in supply chain, business, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years in procurement, supply chain or project controls in solar/storage.
• Direct experience procuring major capital equipment (modules, inverters, BESS, transformers).
• Experience managing inventory across multiple locations and reconciliations.
• Experience coordinating equipment dispatch to active construction sites.
• Familiarity with EPC, design-build, or owner-furnished equipment models.

Responsibilities

• Own long-lead procurement schedule for active and near-term projects.
• Procure PV modules, inverters, transformers, BESS, switchgear and BOM materials.
• Identify long-lead items with FNTP and initiate procurement.
• Track open POs to delivery and escalate risks to leadership.
• Maintain portfolio-level purchase orders by project, vendor, date and status.
• Manage approved vendor list and evaluate new vendors on cost/lead-time.
• Run RFQ/RFP processes where multiple suppliers exist.
• Maintain price benchmarks and flag deviations before PO execution.
• Develop vendor scorecards for delivery, defects, warranty history.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and warranty provisions with Legal on non-standard terms.
• Own master inventory ledger across locations, track on-hand vs allocated.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile with the ledger.
• Allocate inventory to projects per schedules; dispatch to site per EPC timelines.
• Coordinate logistics, transport vendors, and chain-of-custody docs.
• Monitor equipment condition and report storage risks to leadership.
• Maintain real-time inventory dashboard by equipment type and location.
• Ensure inventory movements reflect in project cost tracking and draws.
