Talent Wave Associates is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to spearhead strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, procurement, and commercial negotiations for critical BESS components. You will build a compliant, reliable supply chain aligned with project milestones and regulatory requirements.

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, assess supplier markets, and collaborate with Engineering and Project Management to meet technical specs and schedules.

Formación

• 7–10 years in supply chain management, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
• At least 5 years in utility-scale BESS or renewable energy.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating PCS, inverters, EMS, or BESS solutions.
• Understanding US utility-scale energy storage market and suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• Advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
• MBA or CPSM/CSCP certification is a plus.

About the Role

The role of Supply Chain Manager is pivotal in leading strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, procurement, and commercial negotiations for critical components in utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This position is essential for developing a competitive, reliable, and compliant supply chain that supports the organization's energy storage business. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure alignment with project milestones and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategies for BESS components.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard domestic and international suppliers.
• Conduct supplier market assessments and supply chain risk analyses.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including RFI, RFQ, RFP, and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate complex procurement agreements, including Master Supply Agreements (MSAs).
• Ensure compliance with US domestic content requirements and federal energy tax credit eligibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management teams to meet technical specifications and project schedules.
• Establish and maintain supplier performance reviews and address performance issues.

Minimum Requirements

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in utility-scale BESS or renewable energy.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating agreements for PCS, inverters, EMS, or BESS solutions.
• Understanding of the US utility-scale energy storage market and its principal equipment suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
• Advanced commercial negotiation and contract management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, advanced technical degree, or relevant professional certifications such as CPSM or CSCP.
