Job summary

Southland Industries, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks an experienced professional to expand electrical projects with existing accounts and new buyers. You will manage campaigns from conception to contract, lead negotiations, and coordinate with estimating and engineering to craft competitive proposals.

You will foster strong account relationships, present Brandt’s capabilities, and drive strategic long-term opportunities while traveling up to 20% to meet clients and close deals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years construction-related experience with 3 years in marketing/estimating.
• Understand Brandt's policies, procedures and capabilities.
• Strong team-building and leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communications and negotiation skills.
• Ability to perform cold calls to develop new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop new electrical work opportunities by contacting existing accounts and potential buyers.
• Manage projects from conception through signed contract and start of construction.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts.
• Coordinate with Estimating and Engineering for conceptual estimating and value engineering.
• Prepare estimates using conceptual templates and estimating software.
• Develop major proposals, presentations and marketing materials for RFPs/RFQs.
• Identify new work leads and manage follow-up and records.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
