Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to help shape the future of lunar technologies and missions. Based in Pittsburgh, you will define end-to-end mission concepts for NASA, government, and commercial customers, influencing architectures powering our lunar landers and spacecraft.

This role requires a strong background in space systems, power/avionics design, and systems engineering, with relocation available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in space system development OR systems engineering OR related domains.
• Experience developing proposal content and external presentations.
• Experience authoring and decomposing mission and system requirements.
• Strong understanding of launch, space and lunar environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review concepts and designs for lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft.
• Support development and content creation for opportunities and proposals.
• Define system-level technical vision connecting customer needs with feasible solutions across hardware/software.
• Perform trade studies to support technical, business, and programmatic decisions.
• Perform power and avionics design and analysis to meet mission objectives.
• Contribute to schedules, resourcing and budgets; communicate with disciplines and partners.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable goals and architectures for proposals and marketing.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment with mission and roadmap.
