Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support development, testing, and operation of lunar landers and space systems. You will guide the system engineering process and provide technical leadership to subsystems, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager.

The ideal candidate will lead a program’s systems engineering activities as needed. Join a mission-driven team tackling challenging space programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, structure/thermal design and analysis, avionics, power, propulsion, comms, flight software, mission management, SMA, trajectory analysis, launch vehicle constraints, risk management, and configuration management.
• Strong understanding of space and launch vehicle mission environments.
• BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or other related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant space mission experience; advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design development for a lunar lander or space-based system.
• Manage concepts of operations, requirements, design configuration, budgets, launch vehicle constraints, risk, and verification planning through the program life cycle.
• Provide technical guidance to system and subsystem teams.
• Collaborate with Mission Director and partners/customers to align on program goals.
• Support technical proposals, interface documents, and integration/operation plans.
• Serve as primary contact between partner/payload engineers.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reports.
• Lead technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Communicate across engineering disciplines to resolve risks and challenges.
