Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to help shape the future of lunar technologies and missions. Advanced Programs leads earliest stage work, from mission concept definition to long-term technology roadmapping and hands-on development of breakthrough technologies that will power our next generation of lunar landers, surface systems, and spacecraft.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar discipline plus 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in space system development, systems engineering, structure/thermal design and analysis, avionics, power systems, propulsion, orbital mechanics, electrical systems, software & controls, modeling & simulation, and/or manufacturing.
• Experience developing technical content for proposals and external customer presentations.
• Experience authoring and decomposing mission and system-level requirements.
• Strong understanding of the launch, space, and lunar environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review concepts for lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft.
• Support development and technical content creation for opportunities (B&P, R&D, or missions).
• Define system-level technical vision for new products across hardware and software domains.
• Perform trade studies to support actions and decisions.
• Perform power and avionics design and analysis to meet mission objectives.
• Contribute to programmatic topics such as schedules, resourcing, and budgets.
• Communicate with other engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve risks.
• Participate in visits and technical interchange meetings with customers and partners.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable product goals and system architectures.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure solutions align with roadmaps.
