Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in Pittsburgh, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Lunar Systems program. You will serve as the technical authority for all electrical systems on the Peregrine lunar landers, delivering hardware and analysis with rigorous oversight, on schedule and within budget.

The role reports to the Electronic Systems Manager and is hybrid in Pittsburgh. Minimum 5+ years in spacecraft electrical systems is required, with a BS or higher in electrical/computer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in spacecraft electrical systems (Avionics, EPS, RF Comms, Harness).
• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Equivalent Work Experience.
• M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of NASA-STD 4001 and NASA-STD 4003 or similar.

Responsibilities

• Operate as single point of technical accountability for all electrical systems of a lunar lander.
• Develop, document, and maintain the technical solution for lunar lander electrical system within project/program constraints and baselines.
• Delegate technical authority of specific engineering scope to dotted line engineers that report to you
• Mentor and lead small teams of engineers to design complex products
• Identify and characterize risks, issues, and opportunities; and manage execution of approved resolution plans.
• Define and defend verification and acceptance approaches
• Support configuration control and baseline integrity
• Review and approve supplier technical deliverables and milestone reviews
• Present technical status, definition, and defend assigned scope at formal program reviews
