Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. seeks a Technical Consultant for the Mission Critical & Industrials group. You will act as a SME, lead complex projects, mentor staff, and contribute to QA/QC, cost estimation, and best practices.

This role offers high autonomy with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a PE license, 7+ years of relevant experience, and deep HV power systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• PE license is required.
• Deep experience with high voltage power systems is required.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Interest in training, mentoring, and coaching is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers on complex Mission Critical & Industrial projects.
• Design and review electrical power systems, including one-line diagrams and protection schemes.
• Develop cost estimates and project scheduling; enforce QA/QC standards.
• Represent the company in technical conferences and client meetings.
• Coordinate with Business Development to showcase capabilities and thought leadership.
