Mission Critical Group seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead complete electrical design packages for low- and medium-voltage systems, ensuring IEEE/ANSI/NEMA/UL compliance and client satisfaction.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and client teams, and drive design reliability while contributing to innovations in power solutions for mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical engineering design with Switchgear in marine, heavy industrial, and oil & gas industries.
• 1+ years of electro-mechanical power system design, including low/medium voltage distribution and arc flash protection.
• Experience with marine, oil and gas, or energy sector projects (preferred).
• Understanding of generator controls, protective relays, short circuit studies, and complex system integration.
• Ability to read client specs and one-line diagrams to create design criteria.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver complete electrical design packages for low- and medium-voltage equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL and client specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and field service teams to resolve design challenges.
• Lead client-facing communication on technical issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide design input on job size, configurations, and feasibility for quotes.
• Build and maintain vendorRelationships to research materials and new technologies.
• Provide technical support during production and client witness testing; troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers and improve design standards and tools.
• Drive innovation through new product development and improvements.
