Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an Electrical and Mechanical Supervisor to lead a fast-paced maintenance organization in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

You will oversee Electricians, Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Mechanics, driving reliability, safety, and continuous improvement across electrical/PLC systems. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and upgrading legacy controls (e.g., PLC-5 to ControlLogix) to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Industry experience in steel manufacturing or food processing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop Maintenance Team Members including Electricians, Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Mechanics.
• Foster a safety culture and enforce NEC/OSHA and plant protocols.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and control issues in high-speed production equipment.
• Provide hands-on support during startups, shutdowns, and emergencies 24/7.
• Plan and execute mechanical, electrical and automation projects from concept to completion.
• Review schematics, blueprints, and specifications for new installations.
• Coordinate with vendors for capital projects and maintain spare parts inventories.
