Job summary

MS Companies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting experience, along with supervisory experience in automotive or glass manufacturing.

This role will lead a maintenance team, support equipment reliability and uptime, drive continuous improvement, and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Supervisory experience in an automotive or glass manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of industrial plant utility systems, furnaces, and automated equipment.
• Experience working in a union environment and knowledge of collective bargaining.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities across float line systems, autoclaves, furnaces, cutting tables, robotics, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure equipment uptime and product quality through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyze equipment performance and downtime to identify opportunities to improve OEE.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automated equipment issues.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, contractors, and other departments.
• Mentor and develop maintenance team members through training, coaching, and skill progression.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, and performance while supporting a collaborative union environment.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE requirements, audits, training, and incident investigation processes.
