Job summary

Stratas Foods seeks a Senior Electrical Mechanical Technician Level A to lead advanced maintenance on production equipment. The role focuses on complex electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance program development, and equipment optimization with minimal supervision.

Qualified candidates will have 4–6 years of hands-on maintenance experience, PLC and automation expertise, and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Advanced experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs and automation systems.
Experience developing, writing, and implementing preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
Proficiency using advanced diagnostic equipment and maintenance software for equipment analysis and troubleshooting.
Experience managing multiple maintenance projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and quality expectations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong working knowledge of CMMS.
Demonstrated experience mentoring, training, and developing maintenance technicians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

Lead or support maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems with minimal supervision.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation domains.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and reliability teams to improve equipment uptime.
Utilize CMMS to document work orders and track equipment history.
