Job summary

Stratas Foods, LLC is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for its Texas-area operations. You will lead preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

The role requires 4–6 years of hands-on experience, knowledge of PLCs, and CMMS proficiency. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4–6 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs and automation systems.
• Experience developing, writing, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Proficiency using advanced diagnostic equipment and CMMS for analysis.
• Experience managing multiple maintenance projects with timelines and quality.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies.
• Mentoring and developing maintenance technicians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with GMP standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Repair, install, and maintain production and manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct inspections and identify improvements to prevent failures.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Utilize CMMS to document activities, track work orders, and review history.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues.
• Lead or support complex maintenance projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and reliability teams to improve uptime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
