Job summary

Senior Manufacturing Engineer II (Electrical) in Richmond, VA, joins Altria's world-class manufacturing facility to lead electrical engineering for high-speed packaging lines and capital projects.

You will mentor technicians, manage 1–5 million annual projects, implement electrical standards, and collaborate with in-house electricians, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, safe equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Experience with PLC & IPC machine control systems; Beckhoff and Allen-Bradley preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead projects for high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Provide electrical engineering services and technical expertise across teams.
• Lead project management, present scope, timelines and budgets to leadership.
