Job summary

Altria Group, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer II (Electrical) to lead electrical projects for high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will collaborate with electricians, support teams, and OEM resources to drive safe, reliable operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) and 3+ years’ experience, with Beckhoff/Allen-Bradley PLC experience. The salary range is $104,900.00 to $152,150.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Experience with PLC & IPC machine control systems; Beckhoff and Rockwell preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Provide electrical engineering services and technical expertise to manufacturing teams.
• Apply project management to present scopes, timelines and budgets to senior leadership.
• Maintain technical standards and business processes; develop work plans aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for department staff.
