Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician IV - Electrical for our industrial maintenance team in Utica, NY. Typical hours are M-F 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with overtime, on-call time, and potential AWS in the future.

This role responds to work orders, troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance on buildings and facility systems. The position requires 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work with 480V 3-phase electrical power; a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience maintaining buildings, facilities, or equipment in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.

Responsibilities

• Performs industrial and commercial lighting system repairs.
• Troubleshoots and repairs conveyor systems, R/O systems and overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoots and repairs dock locks and levelers.
• Troubleshoots and repairs pumps, piping, seals and valves.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs heating and ventilation equipment, including VAV and AHU systems.
• Inspects and repairs roofing systems and materials.
• Safely operates forklift equipment, hoists, and cranes.
• Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in CMMS.
