Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking an Electrical & Instrument Mechanic to join the Maintenance team at the Washington Works site in Parkersburg, WV. The role maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves electrical and instrumentation equipment across the site.

The position collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical teams to support reliability, complete maintenance tasks, and drive improvement projects.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate degree or certification related to electrical maintenance/instrumentation preferred.
3–5 years of electrical maintenance or instrumentation experience or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 480 VAC motors, starters, and VFDs.
Troubleshoot control circuits including 24 VDC and 120 VAC systems.
Configure and troubleshoot PLCs and DCS systems.
Instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.
Maintain control valves and analyzers; support instrumentation.
Complete maintenance work orders and document in SAP.
Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams on improvements.
