Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer - Displays to lead design and development of GM's next‑generation display systems, including LCD and OLED modules, from concept through validation.

You will own hardware architecture, schematic design, PCB layouts, DFMEA, worst‑case and signal integrity analyses, EMC, and power sequencing, coordinating with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in automotive display electronics or embedded hardware.
• Experience with DFMEA, worst-case analysis, signal integrity, EMC, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to define interfaces and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical hardware design for in-house display modules from concept through validation.
• Develop schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, and docs aligned with GM requirements and milestones.
• Lead hardware design reviews with internal and supplier teams (EMC, SI, PI).
• Define and validate power architecture and interface content for display systems.
