Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, Suffolk, VA seeks a full-time Commercial Electrical Foreman. The role supervises craft workers, reads specs, and ensures safety/documentation across projects. Travel may be required; state electrical license preferred and OSHA-30 or ability to obtain is expected.

Minimum 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience or related work is required; background checks will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Supervise and coordinate craft workers and plan labor requirements.
• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
• Ensure daily safety reporting and documentation.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to specs.
• Enforce safety policies and proper use of tools and equipment.

• Document and report daily/weekly safety activities.
• Inspect quality and quantity of finished work to specs.
• Enforce safety policies and proper care for tools/equipment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems.
• Comply with company and customer safety procedures.
• Travel may be required.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment and MVR checks when operating vehicles.
