Tri-City Electrical Contractors Inc. is seeking an Electrical Operations Field Trainer to develop, deliver, and evaluate training for field personnel.

This role ensures crews from helpers to superintendents are equipped with the technical know-how, safety practices, and company standards to perform safely and effectively. Partnering with Operations Leadership, Safety, and Leadership Development, the trainer aligns programs with manpower planning, project requirements, and NEC/NFPA 70E standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of field experience in the electrical trade; five+ years as superintendent.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical installation practices, and safety standards.
• Experience reading construction plans and NEC/NFPA requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field tech tools.
• Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct hands-on training sessions for electrical field employees, including QuickStart programming and code compliance.
• Organize onboarding orientations for new Superintendents and deliver leadership training for Foremen.
• Conduct recurring NEC update and compliance classes.
• Collaborate with Operations Leadership, Safety and LEAD teams to align training with project requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness via feedback, tests, and field observations.
• Travel regularly to jobsites and company divisions to deliver training and on-site support.
