Job summary

PowerGrid Services, LLC is seeking a Field Trainer to develop, deliver, and evaluate safety, technical, and operational training for our field teams. You will serve as a subject matter expert, conducting classroom and hands-on instruction, observing field work, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

The role requires coordinating with operations leadership, maintaining training records, and supporting incident investigations and storm restoration efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 10 years of electric utility industry experience.
• Experience developing, facilitating, and implementing employee training programs.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Observe field operations to evaluate safety practices and identify training needs.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver safety, technical, and operational training programs.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to employees at all levels.
• Maintain training records and assist with certifications and qualifications.
• Assist with incident investigations and storm restoration support.
