Job summary

Tri-City Electrical Contractors Inc. seeks a Service Technician II to coordinate and control electrical service work with a focus on cost, quality, and equipment conservation.

You will act as a liaison between customers and the Service Supervisor/Manager and supervise crew activities on site. QUALIFICATIONS include 4 years of service electrician experience, a Florida driver’s license, NEC knowledge, blueprint reading, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience as a service electrician or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s license in good standing.
• Strong working knowledge of construction, electrical work, and systems.
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and lay out a project, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical operations to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Must read/write and communicate in English at a 12th-grade level.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and direct the work of the crew.
• Monitor and document progress of electrical work, including quality and quantity of work performed.
• Perform electrical installation and maintenance work.
• Maintain service vehicle and ensure timely service and repair.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC requirements.
• Establish relationships with clients and obtain acceptance of completed work.
• Provide technical assistance, e.g., interpretation of drawings and recommended methods.
