Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Technical Trainer to develop onboarding and technical readiness of entry-level Field Service staff. You will deliver structured training in electrical systems, startup testing, troubleshooting, software tools, and safety practices.

Responsibilities include delivering 4-week new hire orientation, coordinating hands-on labs, evaluating trainee performance, maintaining training records, and updating materials to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

Associates degree in engineering, electrical technology, or related field preferred.
At least 2 years of electrical industry field service or troubleshooting experience.
Prior experience in training, teaching, or coaching is preferred.
Experience with power products and electrical testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver structured technical training for Field Service employees.
Manage 4-week new hire orientation for Field Service.
Coach and provide feedback to trainees.
Maintain training records and administration.
Collaborate with engineering, production and field leadership to identify training needs.
Update training materials to stay current.
