Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer or Senior Electrical Services Specialist for remote support across Hyper-Scale Data Center sites in the United States. Responsibilities include configuring networks, uploading PLC programs, installing I/O and CPUs, and performing on-site testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of power distribution systems.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical control systems, MV/LV switchgear experience, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification.
5+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards.
5+ years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC/DC tests and related procedures.
Familiarity with ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Create test scripts and MOPs for Data Centers Cx activities.
Set up communication devices and topology industrial networks; upload HMI/PLC programs; install I/O and CPUs.
Integrate 3rd party EPMS; perform testing, operation, troubleshooting and modification of equipment.
Troubleshoot and test MV/LV switchgear, breakers and LV equipment; analyze results.
Provide on-site training and customer instruction; complete job closeout documentation.
