Siemens in the United States is seeking Senior Field Service Engineers or Senior Electrical Services Specialists to support I&C on power distribution equipment at Hyper-Scale Data Center sites. Responsibilities include setting up networks, uploading HMI/PLC programs, and testing and commissioning.

You will lead on-site integration, provide customer training, and travel up to 50% while complying with relevant codes and safety standards.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits.
• 5+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards.
• 5+ years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, transformer power factor testing, and other power system test practices and procedures.

• Create test scripts and MOP (Methods of Procedures) related to Data Centers Cx activities.
• Setting communication devices and topology industrial networks; uploading HMI/ PLC programs; installation of I/O and CPUs.
• Integration of 3rd Party EPMS; initial testing, operation, troubleshooting and modification of customer equipment and systems.
• MV or LV Circuit breakers; metal clad/vacuum switchgear; breakers or LV equipment testing; analyzing test results.

• Electrical Control Circuits Troubleshooting & Repair
• Provide on-site assistance with or perform programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes. Participate in job site final walk-through, complete all job closeout documentation, and provide customer training.
• Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Train customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment. Provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff and train lower-level employees. Complete and submit reports covering all job activity.
• Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments.
• Plan and estimate labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, and transportation expenses to complete complex proposals. Perform review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics; provide continual guidance throughout the project duration. (FSE only)
• Perform and supervise preliminary and detailed site audits to develop design concepts and schematics.
• Perform Site Lead activities during the cycle of the client’s construction schedule, when required.
