Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Hyper-Scale Data Centers/Electrical Services Senior Electrical Services Specialist. The role covers I&C on power distribution equipment, installing and testing switchgear, CPUs, HMIs, and integrating 3rd party EPMS, with a four-month training period requiring travel.

You will lead installation, troubleshooting, documentation, customer training, and support staff.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits.
5+ years of experience in installation/maintenance of Power Automation Switchboards.
5+ years of experience with electrical test sets for high/low voltage testing and related practices.
Experience interpreting protective coordination studies and configuring protective relays.
Experience reading electrical blueprints and power system study reports.

Responsibilities

Lead installation and checkout of electric and electronic components for systems and service jobs.
Set up communication devices and topology industrial networks; upload HMI/PLC programs.
Test and commission 3rd party EPMS; perform initial testing and troubleshooting.
Test MV/LV switchgear and analyze results; conduct equipment condition assessments.
Provide customer training, documentation, and on-site support throughout projects.
