United States Digital Space LLC seeks a seasoned Field Engineer for a Lake Charles LNG project. You will provide field engineering specialization in work planning, material management, quantity verification and safety control, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project requirements.

The role emphasizes construction drawings, procurement planning, and coordination with subcontractors, with strong focus on safety and continuous learning to support complex LNG tank construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8–10 years LNG tank experience or 12–15 years LNG tank work experience required.
• Strong knowledge of LNG tank construction methods and field engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares construction drawings and schedules; designs temporary facilities and ensures as-built drawings.
• Initiates field material purchases and prepares quantity takeoffs.
• Verifies quantities in tracking systems and databanks.
• Upholds zero-accident safety philosophy and ensures safe tools and equipment for the field.
• Shows willingness to continuous learning and pursue relevant training.
• Develops understanding of system scope and drawings for package development.
• Reviews and approves inspection and test plans; coordinates subcontractor submittals.
