Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC.

The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for complex construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment, while ensuring competitiveness and alignment with project requirements. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in construction estimating, a construction management or civil engineering background, and proficiency with HCSS, Bluebeam and P6 Primavera,

Formación

• 2–4 year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or significant field experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in software (HCSS, Bluebeam, P6 Primavera) and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope and technical clarifications.
• Collaborate with estimators, DB engineers and operations team to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for competitiveness and compliance with project specs.
• Develop and maintain a database of historical cost data for reference in future estimates.
• Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect scope or cost changes.
• Assist in bidding process by preparing bid packages and attending pre-bid meetings with travel as needed.
• Coordinate scope of work activity coverage between discipline estimators.
• Schedule development of key scope of work activities with input from estimators.
