Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Estimator for Electrical, Technology, and LV systems in Charlotte, NC. You will develop complete take-offs, cost analyses, and bid packages for related trades from concept through construction documents, working with preconstruction and operations teams.

The role requires 3+ years of estimating experience, a B.E. in engineering, and strong collaboration with vendors and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related estimating experience.
• Knowledge of Electrical, Technology, and LV systems.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong communication and collaboration with vendors and teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for Electrical, Technology, and LV systems from design through construction documents.
• Develop quantity take-offs, analyses, and studies for assigned scope.
• Coordinate pricing with vendors and trade partners.
• Perform constructability analysis and communicate issues to the team.
• Assist with life cycle cost analysis and GC/GR item estimation.
• Prepare proposals for various contract types and participate in reviews.
