Job summary

EC Electric in Redmond, Oregon is seeking an Electrical Construction Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating for special projects, industrial and commercial systems. You will develop complete, accurate proposals, set bid strategies, manage risk, coordinate vendors and subcontractors, and guide a team of estimators.

The role requires strong knowledge of low voltage systems, proficiency with Bluebeam and ConEst, labor unit analysis, and the ability to work across teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading low voltage estimates valued at more than $2 million.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam for quantity takeoffs and estimating software (ConEst or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of labor units, crew composition, productivity factors and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete, accurate, and competitive RFP responses.
• Review plans, specs, and bid documents to define scope and estimating approach.
• Identify conflicts and risks; coordinate clarifications and solutions.
• Develop estimate plans, bid schedules, and work assignments.
• Prepare and review quantity takeoffs and price estimates.
• Lead kickoff, progress reviews, and bid close meetings.
• Perform quality-control reviews of takeoffs, pricing, and narratives.
• Develop pricing strategies to improve competitiveness and reduce risk.
• Communicate scope, schedule, and responsibilities to the team.
