Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions LLC is representing a well-established electrical contractor seeking a Chief Estimator to lead its estimating department in Seattle. The candidate will drive preconstruction excellence, develop a capable team, and set strategy for major project pursuits.

You will collaborate with executive leadership, operations, and business development to win high-value commercial and industrial bids while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical estimating experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success estimating medium to large commercial/industrial electrical projects.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing estimating teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all estimating and preconstruction activities for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of estimators to ensure consistency and growth.
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to craft comprehensive estimating strategies.
• Prepare conceptual budgets, negotiated proposals, design‑build estimates, and hard bids.
• Evaluate labor, material pricing, subcontractor proposals, and project risks.
• Develop value engineering and cost‑saving strategies to improve competitiveness.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, PM, and BD during pursuit process.
• Participate in bid reviews, client presentations, and project turnover meetings.
