CyberCoders is seeking a Chief Estimator in Commerce City, CO to lead its estimating operations for multifamily and commercial electrical projects.

The role requires a strong leadership background in electrical estimating, advanced budgeting skills, and hands-on experience with Accubid, LiveCount, and ConEst. You will guide the team, develop budgets, review designs, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive electrical estimating experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in multifamily wood-stick construction and commercial electrical projects.
• Experience preparing conceptual budgets, schematic estimates, and DD budgets.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical systems.
• Ability to work with developers and owners during preconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Assess bid opportunities with VP of Preconstruction and set pursuit strategy.
• Lead and develop the estimating team.
• Prepare and oversee conceptual and DD budgets.
• Develop electrical budgets from limited design information.
• Review drawings and design documents for accuracy.
• Direct estimates for multifamily and commercial electrical projects.
• Build relationships with owners, developers, architects, and GCs.
• Lead value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage bid strategy and final proposal reviews.
• Mentor a high-performing estimating department.
• Analyze labor, materials, and market trends.
• Support leadership with forecasting and business development.
