CyberCoders is seeking a Senior Estimator for electrical construction to develop detailed cost estimates and drive bid accuracy on diverse projects. You will review plans, gather data, and collaborate with project teams to ensure competitive proposals.

This role emphasizes mentorship of junior estimators and adherence to budget and schedule. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical estimating, strong knowledge of codes and construction methods, and proficiency in estimating software and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to produce competitive bids.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
• Maintain a database of historical costs for future reference and benchmarking.
• Assist in the development of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.
