Job summary

CEC is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to plan, direct, and coordinate electrical estimating activities. The role focuses on the full estimating process from reviewing specs to final pricing for diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in large commercial estimating, proficiency with Accubid/LiveCount, and strong leadership and collaboration skills to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree a plus or equivalent required related experience.
• 8+ years of experience in an estimating role with a focus on large multi‑million‑dollar commercial projects.
• Experience with Accubid and LiveCount Estimating Software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates.
• Prepares bids from conceptual or design stages and plans and specifications.
• Prepares cost in Accubid with materials, labor, subcontractors, and pricing.
• Leads, mentors, and coordinates junior estimators.
• Ensures estimates are complete, accurate, and timely.
