Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator to support a growing portfolio of large-scale industrial EPC and data center construction projects nationwide.

This role focuses on accurate, competitive electrical estimates and collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Prior data center experience is not required; strong electrical construction background and ability to travel nationwide are valued.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience within industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical construction.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and construction labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
