Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Sr. Electrical Estimator to support a growing portfolio of large-scale industrial and data center projects in a fully onsite role in Houston, TX.

You will develop detailed estimates, review bids, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams nationwide. Ideal candidates have strong electrical construction backgrounds with experience in industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical sectors, and proficiency in Excel along with

Qualifications

• Estimating experience in industrial, commercial, EPC, or mission-critical sectors.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, Accubid or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
